Last week, Jeff Hopkins, the founder of Pacific School of Innovation & Inquiry, joined our meeting to answer some of the questions we held. It was a great opportunity for all of us to talk to him directly and listen to his story in person.

one of the most fascinating things that I liked was how he designed the school. Each room had different roles such as the music room, sound rooms, craft rooms, etc. What was considered was that he planned it all from the perspective of the student. Some schools may organize and arrange the classroom environment and facilities based on the comfort of the school system or teachers’ use. However, students are freely moving around the rooms and use whichever tools they want to use.

I have followed Jeff and PSII’s Twitter account and I am looking forward to reading more of their tweets regarding education and tips for teaching. 😀
